Writing 101: Day Five – Let Social Media Inspire You

For day five task in writing 101 is:

One of the goals of Writing 101 is to tap into new and unexpected places for post ideas. Today, let’s look to Twitter for inspiration. Don’t worry — you don’t need a Twitter account to participate in this prompt.

Today, write a response to one of these tweets. Shape your post in any way you choose — agree or disagree with the tweet, or use it as a starting point for a story, personal essay, poem, or something else. Hover over your chosen tweet to click to the original, copy the tweet’s URL in your browser, and insert this URL on its own line in your post editor. These steps will embed the tweet in your post.

Visit Twitter.com and enter #quotes in the search field, which will display tweets with this hashtag. Find a tweet that intrigues you. When you’ve found one, click on its timestamp (for example, “30m,” “10h,” or “Jul 31”), copy the tweet’s URL in your browser, and drop this URL on its own line in your post editor to embed the tweet in your post.

In continuation of our day four writing 101, an inspiration from twitter post is need to visualize which I did some of it here, and here. And I was checking so many blogs with so much inspiration they have in mind, this has caught my spur for today’s activity.

This was first posted (if I am not mistaken) by Zarbang about three years ago. A man giving his slippers to homeless girl in Rio de Janeiro.

Another blogger of WP by the name of Kindness Blog, featured this photo in their blog as well.

In life there are worst could happen than being broken hearted (I too have experience it), we have to accept that it is part of a process that what we are today. We can cry a day or two until we feel alright but we have to move on, forgive, and let the pain go. We have to love ourselves.

After we learn how to love ourselves, we learn how to care about anything, passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there is nothing to make it last.

When life knocks us down, we should try to land on our back. Because if we can look up, we can get up. The world is full of good people. But if you can’t find one, be one.

Remember, as long as we are breathing there is always chance for us to start a new beginning.
