Summary:
A single mother (Kathryn) sent her two children to their grandparents’ isolated farmhouse in Pennsylvania, whom she has not seen in 20 years, to spend a week-long trip for the first time to meet their grandchildren, Becca (Olivia) and Tyler (Ed), for her to spend a relaxing vacation with recent boyfriend.
Becca and Tyler will meet their grandparents for the first time. One of the kids, Becca likes to film a documentary and decided to do one with her grandparents, with Tyler’s help, in order to help their mom reconnect with her parents after years of separation with misunderstanding, and also to know more about their mom as well.
While filming the documentary, the children discover a secret about their grandparents that is deeply disturbing every day.
My opinion:
An exciting blend of horror and comedy. The Visit shifting tones at certain points when it wants to be funny, it’s laughing out loud hilarious and when it wants to be scary, it can be scary.
You will love Ed’s character here 😀
