Friday Refresh! Free Image Resources 2015
Hello neighbors,
Due to the copyright infringement, even if we linked back to the photographer or illustrator. All the sites below offer photos under the Public Domain or the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. This means no attribution (link) is required unless stated.
Below is the list of websites where to get free use photos for their own blog which I find helpful, and hopefully would be helpful to another writer/bloggers:
Unsplash
Unsplash is made by CREW, is a website that we can access ALL of their images anytime without paying, we can use for both personal and commercial purposes, without permission or attribution. They publish ten (10) new photos every 10 days. Images found can be edited and used throughout the web.
FoodiesFeed
FoodiesFeed is a resource of free realistic food images in high resolution and free digital goods related to food. These all are fully available to download for your blog posts, articles, websites, templates, mobile apps, backgrounds or just any kind of design.
GoodFreePhotos
Good Free Photos is a gallery of thousands of unique and free public domain stock photos. All photos are taken by the owner of the site and are categorized by location for travel photos, species for animal and plant photos, and types of objects for other photos. All photos are released under the public domain license so you can use the photos for whatever reason you want. Goodfreephotos does not claim to have model releases for photos that may need them, please read the license terms if you think a photo needs a model release.
Pickup Image
Pickupimage is the largest collections of free photographs. Free download high-quality premium free stock images, public domain photos. We can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.
Skitterphoto
Skitterphoto all photos on this website are completely free to use for any purpose. When pictures are published on skitterphoto, they are released into the public domain using creative commons CC0. Credit is appreciated, but not necessary. If you are looking for a stock photo to use on your blog, website or ad; browse their categories or search a photo.
So what website do you use for free photos which are not on the list? Please comment below.
I’m so excited you’re here! Welcome! Want a regular dose of my blog posts?
